Peguis First Nation would like to extend our sincere gratitude to Charlene Normand and her partner, Sean Thiessen, for their thoughtful and generous donation of handmade blankets, hats and mitts, lovingly made by Charlene’s neighbour, Teri Dreger.
Charlene and Sean travelled to Peguis, took the time to tour our community, meet some of our members, and personally deliver blankets to a couple of individuals. Charlene’s connection to Peguis is through her nephew, making this kind gesture especially meaningful.
Acts of kindness like these remind us of the compassion and generosity that bring people together. We are truly grateful to Charlene, Sean and Teri for thinking of our community and taking the time to make a difference in the lives of others.
